Sr. Real Estate Finance Attorney (Sr. Associate, Sr. Counsel, or Partner)

Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Sr. Real Estate Finance Attorney to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in real estate financings, joint ventures, and syndication. This position involves providing expert legal advice and representation to clients in all aspects of real estate finance transactions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Negotiate and draft loan agreements and related documentation for real estate finance transactions.
  • Advise clients on joint venture structures, syndication deals, and financing strategies.
  • Conduct due diligence and provide legal opinions on financing transactions.
  • Serve as the first chair attorney in real estate finance negotiations and closings.
  • Collaborate with lenders, borrowers, and other stakeholders to ensure compliance with legal requirements and regulations.
  • Analyze and interpret complex legal documents and contracts related to real estate finance.

Qualifications

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Barred in CA
  • 10+ years of experience in real estate financing, with a focus on loan agreements, joint ventures, and syndications.
  • Proven track record of negotiating and drafting complex loan documentation.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
