Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Tax Manager to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of tax compliance and reporting for our clients, ensuring adherence to federal, state, and local tax regulations. The Tax Manager will also provide strategic tax planning and consulting services, helping clients optimize their tax positions.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee the preparation and filing of federal, state, and local tax returns for various entities including C-Corps, S-Corps, and Partnerships.
• Review and ensure compliance with GAAP and tax regulations for all tax-related documentation.
• Provide expert advice on tax strategies to enhance client tax positions, including real estate and dental sectors.
• Lead tax planning initiatives and communicate findings and recommendations to clients and stakeholders.
• Supervise and mentor junior staff members in tax compliance and accounting processes.
• Stay current with changes in tax legislation and assess their impact on clients' businesses.
• Coordinate with external auditors and manage audit processes related to tax compliance.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license required.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in tax management or public accounting.
• Strong knowledge of federal and state tax laws, and GAAP.
• Proficiency in tax preparation software such as QuickBooks and tax return forms including 1040, 1120S, and 1120.
• Experience with tax accounting in sectors such as real estate and dental preferred.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
