Position Overview
We are a subcontractor specializing in Commercial Framing and Accoustical Ceilings in the Daytona Beach area. The Superintendent is responsible for overseeing and managing construction projects from start to finish. This role involves coordinating activities on-site, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, managing budgets, and communicating effectively with clients and subcontractors to ensure project completion on time and within scope.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee daily construction operations and ensure project milestones are met
Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials
Monitor and enforce safety regulations and ensure a safe working environment
Manage project budgets and track expenses to ensure financial accountability
Communicate regularly with project stakeholders, including clients and team members
Prepare and review project schedules and adjust as necessary to meet deadlines
Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and quality of work

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Superintendent or similar role in the construction industry
Strong knowledge of construction processes, safety protocols, and quality standards
Excellent leadership and communication skills
Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite
Ability to read blueprints and technical documents
Skills in construction management, with a focus on commercial projects preferred
Experience with drywall, ceilings, acoustical ceilings, and metal framing is a plus
