Job Title: Sitework Estimator
Job Location: Kernersville, NC
Salary: $100K-140k
Requirements: 5+ years of civil & residential land development experience. HCSS Heavybid, Agtek, Bluebeam, and underground utilities experience.

Position Overview:
The Sitework Estimator plays a crucial role in analyzing project specifications, preparing cost estimates, and ensuring that projects are economically viable. This position is responsible for providing accurate and timely estimates to support the bidding process in various construction projects, including commercial, residential, and industrial developments.

Key Responsibilities:

Review project plans and specifications to determine scope of work and estimate costs accurately.
Develop detailed cost estimates for earthwork and land development projects.
Utilize estimating software such as AGTEK and HCSS to prepare bids and project estimates.
Collaborate with project managers and engineers to gather necessary information for accurate estimates.
Analyze labor, material, and equipment costs to prepare comprehensive estimates.
Assist in the preparation of bid proposals and presentations to clients.
Monitor cost trends and suggest cost-saving measures during the project lifecycle.
Provide support during the negotiation phase of contracts.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
Proven experience as an estimator in the construction industry, preferably in sitework.
Strong knowledge of earthwork, land development, and heavy construction practices.
Proficiency in estimating software such as AGTEK, HCSS, and HeavyBid.
Excellent analytical and mathematical skills.
Strong communication and negotiation skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
