Roofing Estimator

Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented Roofing Estimator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing roofing projects, preparing accurate estimates, and ensuring that all project specifications are met. This role requires a strong understanding of construction management and the ability to effectively communicate with clients and contractors to deliver high-quality results.

Key Responsibilities

Review and analyze project specifications and blueprints to prepare accurate estimates for roofing projects.
Collaborate with project managers and contractors to gather necessary information for take-offs and estimates.
Conduct site visits to assess existing roofing conditions and gather data for project proposals.
Develop and maintain relationships with clients, ensuring clear communication regarding project timelines and expectations.
Prepare and present detailed proposals, including cost estimates, material lists, and project schedules.
Monitor project budgets and assist in cost control measures to ensure profitability.
Stay updated on industry trends and materials to provide informed recommendations to clients.

Qualifications

Proven experience as an estimator in the construction industry, specifically in roofing.
Strong knowledge of construction management principles and practices.
Proficiency in take-offs and estimating software.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills.
Basic understanding of project management and budgeting principles.
