PV Solar Technician

Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled PV Solar Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of photovoltaic solar systems. This position plays a crucial role in promoting sustainable energy solutions and ensuring the efficiency of solar operations.

Key Responsibilities

Install photovoltaic solar systems according to specifications and safety standards
Perform routine maintenance and inspections on solar panels and equipment
Troubleshoot and repair solar system issues, ensuring optimal performance
Collaborate with engineers and project managers to ensure project timelines are met
Provide excellent customer service and technical support to clients regarding their solar systems
Maintain accurate records of installations, repairs, and maintenance activities

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Solar Technician or similar role
Strong knowledge of solar photovoltaic systems and technology
Familiarity with NEC codes and electrical engineering principles
Experience in solar installation and repair techniques
Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical drawings
Electrical troubleshooting skills and knowledge of electrical systems
NABCEP certification is a plus
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Excellent communication and customer service skills
