We are seeking a skilled Project Engineer / Licensed PE with expertise in hydraulic and hydrologic engineering to oversee stormwater management projects. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in designing and implementing effective stormwater management systems, ensuring compliance with environmental regulations and standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement stormwater management systems in accordance with regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct hydraulic and hydrologic analyses to support project development.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure project objectives are met.
  • Prepare and review engineering plans, specifications, and reports.
  • Conduct site assessments and evaluations for stormwater management solutions.
  • Ensure projects comply with environmental regulations and standards.
  • Assist in project management tasks including scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.
  • Communicate with clients, stakeholders, and regulatory agencies regarding project status and requirements.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
  • Professional Engineer (PE) certification is required
  • Certified Floodplain Manager (CFM) certification is a plus
  • Strong understanding of stormwater management principles and practices
  • Proficient in AutoCAD and Civil 3D software for engineering design
  • Experience with water quality management and regulatory compliance
  • Knowledge of site development, land development, and grading practices
  • Experience in construction management and infrastructure development
  • Familiarity with hydrology, geotechnical engineering, and flood control design
