Plumbing Designer

Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Plumbing Designer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating efficient plumbing systems for various projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations while collaborating with other design professionals.

Key Responsibilities

Design and develop plumbing systems for commercial and residential projects.
Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors during the design and construction phases.
Perform calculations and analysis to ensure system efficiency and effectiveness.
Prepare detailed drawings and specifications for plumbing systems.
Review and ensure compliance with local codes and regulations.
Assist in construction administration duties including site visits and coordination with contractors.
Identify and resolve design-related issues throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Plumbing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
Proven experience as a plumbing designer in commercial construction projects.
Strong knowledge of plumbing, HVAC, MEP systems, and design principles.
Familiarity with relevant codes and regulations.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD or Revit.
