Position Overview

We are seeking a Civil Litigation Attorney with at least 2 years of experience to join our team in either Dallas or Austin, TX. The ideal candidate will be highly motivated, possess strong analytical and advocacy skills, and be eager to take on an active role in all aspects of litigation. From case inception through trial, this role offers significant courtroom exposure, client interaction, and mentorship from experienced trial attorneys.

Key Responsibilities

  • Handle all aspects of civil litigation defense, including case strategy, discovery, motion practice, and trial preparation.
  • Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, motions, and briefs.
  • Take and defend depositions of witnesses, experts, and parties.
  • Represent clients in mediations, arbitrations, hearings, and trials.
  • Provide legal counsel and risk assessment to clients.
  • Work collaboratively with partners and team members to achieve the best possible outcomes.

Qualifications

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
  • Active Texas Bar membership in good standing.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in civil litigation.
  • Strong written and oral advocacy skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple cases in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with depositions, motions, and trial preparation preferred.
