About the Firm: We are a prestigious international law firm seeking an Associate Attorney with a focus on Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) to join our Palo Alto office. As part of our firm's growth strategy, we are planning to expand our Bay Area presence in 2025-2026 with the opening of a San Francisco office. If you are interested in being based in San Francisco prior to the office opening, there may be an option available. Join a collaborative, innovative team and work on high-profile transactions with leading global clients.

Job Description: As an M&A Associate, you will:

  • Work closely with senior attorneys on high-stakes transactions, including mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures, and equity deals.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate M&A-related documents, such as purchase and equity agreements.
  • Conduct in-depth legal research and provide strategic counsel on matters involving corporate governance, capital structure, and more.
  • Take part in the due diligence process and maintain client communication throughout.
  • Build and nurture relationships with clients, assisting them through the deal process.

Qualifications:

  • JD from a top law school.
  • Admitted to practice in California.
  • 3+ years of experience in M&A or related corporate transactions.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
