Job Overview:

Our firm is seeking a highly skilled Labor and Employment Attorney to join our team in Sacramento, CA. This position offers a hybrid work schedule, allowing for a balance between in-office collaboration and remote flexibility. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience in Employment Litigation, with PAGA experience highly desired.

Key Responsibilities:

Represent clients in employment-related litigation, including wage and hour disputes, wrongful termination, discrimination claims, and PAGA actions.
Provide legal counsel on labor and employment matters, ensuring compliance with federal and state employment laws.
Draft and review legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and contracts.
Conduct legal research and analysis to support case strategies.
Negotiate settlements and advocate for clients in mediations and court proceedings.
Collaborate with colleagues and clients to develop effective legal strategies.

Qualifications:

Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
Active California Bar license in good standing.
Minimum 3 years of experience in Employment Litigation.
Strong knowledge of PAGA and California labor laws.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a hybrid work environment.
