Job Title: Labor and Employment Attorney 

Location: Sacramento, CA (Hybrid: 3 days onsite, 2 days remote) 

Experience Level: Mid-to-Senior Level 

Compensation (DOE): $150,000 - $300,000 Base Salary + Bonuses and other Benefits

Employment Type: Full-Time

Job Overview:

Our firm is seeking a highly skilled Labor and Employment Attorney to join our team in Sacramento, CA. This position offers a hybrid work schedule, allowing for a balance between in-office collaboration and remote flexibility. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience in Employment Litigation, with PAGA experience highly desired.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Represent clients in employment-related litigation, including wage and hour disputes, wrongful termination, discrimination claims, and PAGA actions.
  • Provide legal counsel on labor and employment matters, ensuring compliance with federal and state employment laws.
  • Draft and review legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and contracts.
  • Conduct legal research and analysis to support case strategies.
  • Negotiate settlements and advocate for clients in mediations and court proceedings.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and clients to develop effective legal strategies.

Qualifications:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Active California Bar license in good standing.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Employment Litigation.
  • Strong knowledge of PAGA and California labor laws.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a hybrid work environment.
