Journeyman Electrician

Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Journeyman Electrician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems while ensuring compliance with all safety standards and regulations. This role requires a strong understanding of electrical theory, code compliance, and practical application in diverse environments.

Key Responsibilities

Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment.
Ensure compliance with all applicable electrical codes and safety regulations.
Conduct troubleshooting and diagnostic tests to identify electrical issues.
Perform circuit testing and inspections to ensure systems are functioning properly.
Read and interpret blueprints and electrical drawings for installation and maintenance tasks.
Install and maintain high voltage and low voltage systems, including lighting and controls.
Utilize conduit bending techniques for electrical installations.
Collaborate with other trades and contractors to complete projects efficiently.
Document all work performed, including inspections and maintenance records.
Stay updated on new technologies and advancements in electrical systems.

Qualifications

Valid Journeyman Electrician license.
Proven experience as a Journeyman Electrician or similar role.
In-depth knowledge of electrical theory and code compliance.
Familiarity with PLCs and motor control systems.
Experience in troubleshooting and repairing electrical systems.
Ability to read blueprints and electrical schematics.
Strong understanding of safety regulations and protocols.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Physical stamina and ability to work in various conditions.
