Position Overview
The Head of School provides visionary leadership and strategic direction for the institution, ensuring academic excellence and fostering a positive and inclusive school environment. This role involves overseeing all aspects of school operation, including educational programs, staff development, and community engagement.

Key Responsibilities

Provide strategic leadership and vision for the school
Ensure high standards of academic achievement and progress
Manage and support faculty and staff in their professional development
Foster a positive and inclusive school culture
Engage with parents, students, and the community to promote the school's mission
Oversee budgeting and resource allocation for effective school management
Ensure compliance with local and state educational regulations and standards

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Head of School or in a senior leadership role in education
Strong understanding of curriculum development and educational best practices
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to lead and inspire a diverse team
Bachelors degree in Education or related field is preferred
New York State Teaching Certificate preferred
Experience in private school or charter school environments is a plus
Salary is 85,000-100,000 annually plus Commission/Bonus
