Position Overview
The Financial Analyst will be responsible for analyzing financial data and providing insights to support decision-making processes. This role involves assessing financial performance, preparing budgets, forecasting future financial trends, and ensuring compliance with applicable regulations.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement
Prepare and manage budgets and forecasts to support business planning
Perform project cost analysis and pricing evaluations to guide strategic decisions
Ensure compliance with FAR, DFARS, CAS, and DCAA regulations
Assist in the development of financial models and reconciliation processes
Analyze provisional billing rates and provide recommendations for adjustments
Utilize Excel and Cognos BI for data analysis and reporting
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support financial planning and analysis initiatives
Prepare reports and presentations to communicate financial findings to stakeholders

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
Proven experience as a Financial Analyst or similar role
Strong knowledge of financial analysis techniques and tools
Experience with Deltek Costpoint software is preferred
Familiarity with financial regulations including FAR, DFARS, CAS, and DCAA
Proficiency in Excel for financial modeling and analysis
Experience with Cognos BI is a plus
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong communication and presentation skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
