Commercial Roofing Technician

Position Overview
We are looking for a skilled Roofing Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in roofing installation, repair, and maintenance for residential, commercial, and industrial properties. This role requires attention to detail, technical expertise, and a commitment to safety and quality.

Key Responsibilities

Install, repair, and maintain various roofing systems including shingles, metal, tile, and flat roofs.
Inspect roofs for damage and wear, and provide accurate assessments for repairs and maintenance.
Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine project specifications.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and OSHA standards during all roofing activities.
Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively.
Perform regular maintenance checks and repairs to prolong the lifespan of roofing systems.
Diagnose roofing problems and implement effective solutions.

Qualifications

Proven experience in roofing installation, repair, and maintenance.
Familiarity with residential, commercial, and industrial roofing practices.
Ability to work with various roofing materials such as shingles, metal, and tile.
Strong understanding of blueprints and technical drawings.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Physical stamina to perform manual labor and work at heights.
Valid OSHA certification is preferred.
