Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Estimator to join our team. The Estimator will play a crucial role in the pre-construction phase, providing accurate cost assessments for various projects, particularly in drywall installation. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills and a deep understanding of construction processes, allowing for precise evaluations and estimates.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed cost estimates for drywall installations and related projects.
- Analyze project drawings and specifications to determine labor and material costs.
- Collaborate with project managers and subcontractors to gather accurate information for bids.
- Conduct site visits to assess project requirements and conditions.
- Maintain and update a database of costs, quantities, and pricing.
- Review and reconcile estimates with finalized project budgets.
- Provide support during the bidding process by preparing and presenting estimates to clients.
Qualifications- Proven experience as an Estimator in the construction industry, with a focus on drywall.
- Strong understanding of construction materials, methods, and processes.
- Excellent analytical and mathematical skills.
- Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Proficient in estimation software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with team members and clients.
