Who you are:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
  • Active license to practice law in Missouri
  • Experience in estate planning, probate, and trust administration
  • Strong knowledge of federal and state estate tax laws
  • Must have Gift Tax and Estate Tax experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills
  • Proficiency in legal research and drafting software

What you will be doing:

  • Drafting and reviewing wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and other estate planning documents
  • Advising clients on estate planning strategies to achieve their goals and minimize tax liabilities
  • Handling probate and trust administration matters, including filing necessary court documents and representing clients in probate court
  • Conducting legal research and staying updated on changes in estate planning laws and regulations
  • Collaborating with clients, financial advisors, and other professionals to develop comprehensive estate plans
  • Providing guidance on charitable giving, asset protection, and business succession planning
  • Assisting clients with guardianship and conservatorship matters
  • Participating in firm marketing and business development activities to attract new clients

Billable Hours:

  • 1700 Billable Hours Annually
