Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Environmental Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing environmental projects that ensure compliance with environmental regulations and promote sustainable practices. This role requires a thorough understanding of groundwater, soil remediation, and the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) standards.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct environmental assessments and site investigations to evaluate contamination levels.
Design and implement soil and groundwater remediation strategies in compliance with EPA regulations.
Prepare and review technical reports, proposals, and environmental documentation.
Collaborate with other engineers, scientists, and stakeholders on environmental projects.
Monitor and analyze environmental data to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
Stay updated on environmental laws and regulations, including RCRA and CERCLA, to ensure project compliance.
Utilize GIS and MODFLOW software for environmental modeling and analysis.
Mentor junior engineers and assist in project management activities.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering or a related field.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in environmental engineering or related area.
Strong knowledge of EPA regulations and guidelines.
Experience with soil and groundwater remediation techniques.
Proficient in GIS and MODFLOW software applications.
Ability to use AutoCAD for project design and layout.
Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.
HAZWOPER certification is a plus.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
