Electrical Project Engineer

Position Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated Electrical Project Engineer who will be responsible for managing, coordinating and executing complex electrical projects from conception to completion while ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and design electrical systems and equipment for projects of varying size and complexity
Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and clients to ensure successful project outcomes
Oversee and manage all electrical aspects of construction projects, including installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems
Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, codes, and standards, including NEC and USACE
Prepare and submit accurate and timely submittals, RFI's, and change orders
Provide technical guidance and support to project team members and stakeholders
Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure quality control and adherence to project specifications

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Project Engineer or Electrical Project Engineer in Federal Construction
Strong knowledge of NEC and USACE regulations
Experience with electrical construction and installation
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Experience with HAVFAC is a plus
