Position Overview
The Director of Business Development is responsible for driving growth and expansion within the engineering and architecture sectors. This role entails developing strategic partnerships, identifying new market opportunities, and leading initiatives that enhance the company's market presence and profitability.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement business development strategies to drive growth in the engineering and architecture sectors.
Identify and pursue new business opportunities and partnerships within the industry.
Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and industry partners.
Lead market research efforts to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive landscape within the engineering and architecture fields.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure alignment on business goals and client needs.
Prepare and present proposals, pitches, and presentations to potential clients and partners.
Monitor industry developments and adjust business strategies accordingly.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Business Administration, or a related field.
Minimum of 7 years of experience in business development, preferably within the AEC (Architecture, engineering, construction) sectors.
Proven track record of successfully driving business growth and developing strategic partnerships.
Strong understanding of the engineering and architecture markets and industry trends.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
Experience in construction-related projects is a plus.
