Automation Engineer

Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Automation Engineer to design, develop, and implement automated systems and solutions that enhance our manufacturing processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in PLC programming and SolidWorks, with an ability to troubleshoot and optimize automation systems effectively.

Key Responsibilities

Design and develop automation systems using PLC programming
Design tooling and fixtures in SolidWorks
Implement and optimize automated processes to improve efficiency and productivity.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues within automated systems to minimize downtime.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure integration of automated systems with existing operations.
Conduct testing and validation of automation solutions to ensure quality and reliability.
Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance overall operational performance.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
Proven experience in PLC programming and SolidWorks.
Familiarity with robotics and SCADA systems is a plus.
Basic knowledge of HMI programming and control systems.
Proficient in scripting languages such as Python or C#.
Strong troubleshooting and testing skills.
Experience in process improvement and quality assurance methodologies.
Background in industrial engineering or IT is an advantage.

Salary - $80,000 - $90,000
