Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Audit Staff member to join our team. The Audit Staff will be responsible for assisting in the planning and execution of audit assignments, ensuring compliance with regulations, and supporting the organization's financial health through effective internal controls and risk assessment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in planning and conducting audits of financial statements and internal controls.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls and compliance with laws and regulations.
- Prepare detailed audit reports and present findings to management.
- Conduct risk assessments to identify potential areas of improvement.
- Analyze financial data and reports to ensure accuracy and compliance with GAAP standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance financial reporting processes.
Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Prior experience in auditing or accounting is preferred.
- Strong understanding of financial reporting, compliance, and internal controls.
- Knowledge of GAAP and risk assessment practices.
- Proficient in data analysis and advanced Excel skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
