Attorney - Labor Law

Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Attorney specializing in Labor Law to join our legal team. This role will focus on providing legal advice and representation to clients regarding various labor-related issues, ensuring compliance with employment laws, and advocating for employee rights. The ideal candidate will possess a comprehensive understanding of labor law and demonstrate the ability to navigate complex legal situations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide legal counsel on employment law issues to clients
  • Conduct legal research to support labor law cases
  • Represent clients in litigation related to labor disputes
  • Facilitate mediation sessions to resolve conflicts
  • Assist in collective bargaining negotiations on behalf of clients
  • Ensure compliance with labor regulations and workplace policies
  • Draft and review employment contracts and other legal documents
  • Advocate for employee rights in grievance procedures
  • Manage arbitration processes for labor disputes
  • Educate clients about OSHA regulations and workplace safety standards
Qualifications
  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
  • Licensed to practice law in the relevant jurisdiction
  • 3+ years of experience in labor law or employment law
  • Strong knowledge of labor law, employment contracts, and compliance
  • Excellent legal research and writing skills
  • Proven experience in litigation and dispute resolution
  • Ability to negotiate contracts and settlements effectively
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Familiarity with OSHA regulations and employee rights
