The Acquisitions Analyst identifies, evaluates, and potentially acquires affordable housing real estate properties. They will conduct market research, analyze financial data, and assess property values to determine potential investment opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

Market Research:
Analyzing market trends, property values, and economic factors to identify potential investment opportunities.
Property Valuation:
Evaluating properties using financial models and data to determine their worth.
Due Diligence:
Conducting thorough research on properties, including legal, environmental, and title reviews.
Negotiation:
Working with sellers and other parties to negotiate the terms of a purchase.
Reporting:
Preparing reports and presentations to support the acquisition process.

Skills and Qualifications:

Analytical Skills: Strong ability to analyze financial data, market trends, and property values.
Communication Skills: Ability to communicate effectively with both internal and external stakeholders.
Negotiation Skills: Ability to negotiate effectively and reach favorable agreements.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in relevant software such as Excel and ARGUS, and experience with property valuation software.
Real Estate Knowledge: Understanding of real estate markets, property types, and legal processes.

Education and Experience:

Bachelor's Degree: A bachelor's degree in finance, economics, business administration, or real estate is required.
Experience: 1+ years of experience in affordable housing or multifamily acquisitions
